Cyclone Gaja, which made landfall on November 16th has left a trail of destruction in Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, and Nagapattinam districts of Tamilnadu. The devastation caused by this powerful cyclone with wind speeds reaching up to 120 kmph has claimed over 45 lives.

SATS along with local volunteers conducted Moi Virundhu to collect amount to grow 1 million trees. This is part of a bigger plan to provide sustainable support to our affected farmers. Local business and volunteers sponsored this event by giving dishes and beverages. There was a huge participation from public. Everybody had a good food and donated generously. In this event we were able to collect around $8000 .
